Day One – Finally!
July 7th, 2009 | Published in travel
So a one-man road trip that was supposed to start in March but no later than May, delayed by legalese and achilles (ruptured, ouch,) is finally underway. Except now it’s a family thing; 60-90 days in a motorhome towing our vw, circling the US, Hayley, our three year old daughter Addy, and yours truly all feeding the world’s appetite for truth.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be doing three major things:
1. Recording the stories of the homeless and hungry then recording them reading the word of God.
2. Giving back by making ourselves available for low cost/free speaking engagements to organizations and churches.
3. Giving back to CBA retailers by doing in-store meet and greets and allowing the retailer to profit from our book sales at our speaking events.
So that’s the mini preview. The hungry planet bible project has grown/evolved since this spring (including the promo video which is being redone this week,) so more to come on the Christmas product we’re producing first in the coming days.
Now time to sleep in this monstrosity of a rv here at a tiny little KOA in the middle of Missouri.
